Amber is naturally fragile. The amber we most often see is a chunk, a blob, a clump. But what if we focused on the scraps, the remnants from production, the thin, brittle slices? This type of raw material, or rather a production by-product, caught my attention in 2015. First, I gave it a shape that deviated from traditional amber designs – polygons, asymmetrical, sharp. Amber set in resin was protected, surrounded, and preserved in a unique form of jewelry. Its flat surface created a beautiful landscape. The most fascinating are the milky ambers or those with inclusions. *
